Mikey

            Mikey is a large Boxer mix around the age of 4. He is a big lover that doesn't always realize how big he is. When he gets really excited he could knock you down and not even realize it. He really needs an owner that is willing to try and wear him out from time to time. I think being at the humane society, his energy just builds and builds. He is really well behaved though. He walks with me very nicely and takes commands well. Although Mikey shouldn't be in a family with small children or cats, he could definately use a dog friend to play with. I really think Mikey would love a great home with a large backyard for him to roam to his hearts desire.

            Today, I went to see Mikey at work with the 4-H program. He did so well! He sat and even stayed when he was told. He also did well with the other dogs and the children there. A little boy came up and fed Mikey from his hands. He just lapped it up happily. He has really made a lot of progress with his obedience as well as his agility training.
